Criteria for the contenders
HE RESEARCH PROGRAMME OF THE GREEN THINKER AWARD
consists of two parts: independent desk research by the Property
EU team and a questionnaire which has been sent out
to the 53 contenders for the Green Thinker Award. The number of contenders will be reduced to a shortlist of companies and presented to the jury by the end of August.

The selection of the 53 contenders is based on Property
EU’s ranking of top 100 real estate developers in Europe. Eligibility is
determined by size/turnover and whether or not the company is active in at least one other European country outside its home market.
A questionnaire was sent out to the 53 contenders in July 2008. Candidates are also required to produce an essay of 1,000 words
by the company’s
CEO outlining his or her vision for sustainable development in Europe.
